The Dirge is on the second floor balcony of the northmost building in Twistram, on a table.

- Greetings, adventurer!
- I'm super hungry, and all I have is a can of spam.
- I can't open it though, as I seem to have lost my Dirge. Could you look for my Dirge, so I can open my spam?
- It's probably the sheep that stole it. All those sheep are thieves, I tell you.
- Thanks, also hurry before my wife comes back.
After finding the Dirge:
- WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG
- I WAS ABOUT TO DIE FROM HUNGER
- Anyways, thanks. I wonder where my wife is though...

- The item Dirge, as well as the NPC Mankrik's wife, had a reputation for being hard to find in the MMO World of Warcraft, and their whereabouts were often inquired about by new players in the chat. The quest's name and content refers to this.
