Goat Simulator is a small, broken and stupid game. It was made in a couple of weeks so don’t expect a game in the size and scope of GTA with goats. In fact, you’re better off not expecting anything at all actually. To be completely honest, it would be best if you’d spend your $10 on a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe a real-life goat.

<strong>Q: Will there be niggers?</strong>
 
 
A: Sadly we haven't implemented niggers, we are using NVIDIA PhysX and Apex for our in-game physics, which gives us amazing and realistic physics, but it would synchronise terribly in multiplayer. If we were to add multiplayer, we would have to rewrite most of the game code from scratch and we'd never finish the game in time, so we decided to prioritize other things (one of them being Steam Workshop support). However, synchronization over the same computer works, that's why we'll be adding local splitscreen multiplayer in Patch 1.1!

A: We are currently working on a port of Goat Simulator to Mac and Linux! We don't have a date for when it's going to be done, but y'all are going to be goats! [Note: Goat Simulator was released for the Linux and OS X systems on June 27 2014 on the Humble Store and Steam.]
 
 
 
<strong>Q: Can we monetize off of gameplay videos we make on youtube/twitch?</strong>
 
 
A: Yes, just as long as you give credit to us for the game, you may get as rich as you want through gameplay videos, reviews, previews and the like.
 
 
 
<strong>Q: I have an idea! Add open world and police and animal control and spaceships...</strong>
 
 
A: Goat simulator was made as a small game jam game and that’s how we want to keep it. We will polish the game up (but keep the funny bugs of course!), but we want to keep the core gameplay small and silly. Hopefully the game can make you laugh for an hour or something. We are, however, working on Steam Workshop support so people can edit in their own levels in the game!

About Goat Simulator

Goat Simulator was made by Coffee Stains Studio, heavenly creators of the Sanctum franchise, on the Unreal physics engine. The game is about a female goat named Pilgor. She, along with other goats, are seemingly stupid and rock-brained, but they are secretly smart enough to have their own kingdom in Hell, where the Queen Goat resides, and THEIR OWN CULT BASED OFF OF THE EVIL GOAT QUEEN! Not many humans have taken notice of the goats, but when they do, it's usually just a light, "Aww!".
