Trading cards are Steam collectibles obtained by playing the corresponding game (up to 50% of the total cards, rounded up) that can be crafted together into badges, giving the player backgrounds, emoticons and EXP.
A player can obtain up to three of the five cards by playing Goat Simulator. Extra cards must be obtained in booster packs, by trading or in the Market. These cards can be crafted together several times, increasing the level of the game's badge whilst doing so. They can be crafted up to five times per account.

Foil trading cards
Foil trading cards are much rarer to obtain than regular cards. Unlike regular badges, foil badges can only be crafted once.

Booster packs can be obtained once a week for one of your games. Upon using it, the player is awarded 3 random cards of that game.
After crafting a badge, the player wins one emoticon and one profile background, picked at random. Both are separated in three types of rarity, in order of probability: Common, Uncommon and Rare, in order of probability of obtaining them.
